Last fall, we were full speed ahead—building toward 2,000 head and the next chapter at Rule Sheep Company. Then life forced a shift. A recent cancer diagnosis has given us a different perspective—and a renewed focus on doing what’s right for our family and the future of RSC. “Winners are not people who never fail, but people who adapt and never quit.”
As a family, we’ve made the decision not to step away—but to simplify, refocus, and move forward with intention.

On the breeding services side, Tyson and Dr. Pottebaum will continue working alongside our customers this season—making your programs a priority—with a more strategic approach to time and travel.

We’re excited about what we can help you accomplish for this fall and into 2027 with our ram battery, fresh and frozen semen capabilities, and new breeding locations.

For Rule Sheep Company, we will be offering every mature ewe born from 2020 through 2023, along with the majority of 2024 ewes—excluding the kids’ personal show string. We will be retaining all 2025 yearling ewes and our 2026 keepers.
